Raymond Mobley

Raymond Mobley, 96, passed away November 15, 2025. He was preceded in death by parents, Gertrude and Clyde Mobley; brothers, Glen (Janice), Dwayne, and Lonnie Mobley; and sister, Lucille (Joe) Justice. Ray is survived by wife of 67 years, Emogene Mobley; sons, Darrell (Ravey) and Greg (Patricia) Mobley; daughter, Regena (Larry) Hudson; sister, Arlene Carroll; sister-in-law, Lovereta Mobley; grandchildren, Heather Mobley, Andy (Nichole) Mobley, Teedah Chhuom, Max Mobley, Ethan Ho, Tyler Ho, Makayla (John III) Meade, Evan Mobley, Erica Reed, and Brian Hudson; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Ray served our country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. After serving, he was self-employed for 5 years in the logging industry. He then worked for Porcelain Steel for 32 years. Ray enjoyed 34 years of retirement. Ray was a member of Southwest Freewill Baptist Church. He loved bluegrass music and especially listening to his grandson, Max and his friends play for him. Ray had a big heart and would open his home to anyone who needed a helping hand.

Ray liked to hunt, go to the flea markets, and watch UK basketball. Above all, he loved to spend time with his family and he loved the Lord.

Visitation Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 10am until the time of Funeral Service at 11am at Southwest Freewill Baptist Church, 1542 Greenleaf Rd., Columbus, OH 43223. Interment to follow at Concord Cemetery (new), Grove City, OH.
