Raymond D. Tallman, Sr., 95, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019. Raymond was born on December 19, 1923 in Columbus, OH to Frank and Ella (Ott) Tallman.
Raymond is preceded in death by first wife, Betty (Ayers) Tallman; second wife, Joann (Meyers) Tallman; daughter, Patty Kay Tallman; son, R. Dale Tallman , II; parents; sisters, Vera Tallman Wheeler, Fern Tallman; brother, Oliver (Lewie) Tallman.
He is survived by his son, Robert (Monika) Tallman; grandchildren, Jonathan (Kathleen), Kimberly, Jeff Tallman and Michelle (Brandon) Price; 9 great-grandchildren and brother, Cliff Tallman.
Raymond was a World War II veteran serving in the European Theatre as a combat medic. He was a bronze star recipient. Raymond retired from the Timken Company after 36 years of service.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 11 am at Northlawn Memory Gardens, 7060 S.R. 3, Westerville, OH 43082.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Raymond's honor to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 80 E. Markison Ave., Columbus, OH 43207.
