Rebecca Lee Skaggs, age 71, passed away at her home with family near on May 15, 2020. She was born on June 7, 1948 in Louisa, KY to the late Julie and Henry Kirk.
Left to cherish her memory is the love of her life, her husband of 50 years, Ansel; children, Charlotte (Steve) Wilson, Andy (Crystal) Skaggs, Nikki (Brian) Bainbridge; brother, Taylor Kirk; grandchildren, BJ, Jodie, Chelsea, Mikinzi, Bryson, Quin; great-grandchildren, Kyndric, Payton, Jaliyah, PJ, Jalayah, Darail, Ashai, Alysia, Andrew, Bella, Gavin, Mason, Troy.
Becky was a true nurturer. She had a real passion for taking care of people, animals, and making her garden beautiful. She dedicated her life to loving the Lord and her family beyond measure. Becky thought Ansel was the truest definition of a soul mate. She enjoyed fishing, camping, dancing to the 'oldies', as well as listening to the sweet sounds of Southern gospel music. Raising her kids was the highlight of her life, she loved them fiercely. And Becky absolutely adored all of her grandbabies. Whatever was important to you, became important to her. Becky worked as a MA for many years and her patients loved her.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, May 23, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer-SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway in Grove City (614-539-6166). The Celebration of Life Service will begin at 12:00 p.m.
