Regena Johnson, age 77, went to be with Jesus on February 25, 2021. She was born on October 25, 1943 in Kermit, West Virginia to the late Elizabeth and Ransom Marcum.
Left to cherish her memory is the love of her life, her husband of 53 years, Paul; daughters, Dr. Glenda (Doug) Bumgarner, Lori (John) Kesterson; grandchildren, Jamison (Elizabeth) Hughes, Arika Kesterson; great-grandchildren, Jamison, Josiah, Judith and Jeremiah. Regena was preceded in death by her 11 brothers and sisters.
Regena loved her Lord Jesus Christ and was a devoted Christian who loved to sing at church. She and her husband Paul were long-time members of the Cherry Creek Church of Christ. Regena was a successful small business owner and owned multiple hair salons. She loved to travel and camp with her family.
The visitation will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer-SW chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. followed by procession to Concord Cemetery.
