Rev. Dr. Jay Tackett, 82, passed away Oct. 15, 2017.
He was preceded in death by parents, Hampton and Mirty (Nunnery) Tackett; wife, Rebecca; stepson, Gary; brothers, Hasel, Azzle, Eurie, and Aaron; sisters, Shirley Tackett, Gettie Tackett, and Ocie Paige.
Survivors include brother, Robert (Janet) Tackett of Beaver, KY; sister, Beatrice Tackett of Beaver, KY; sisters-in-law, Clara Tackett of Beaver, KY, Cheryl Tackett of Floyd County, KY, Della Tackett of Beckley, WV; many loving nieces and nephews; and fiancé, Sandra Crum.
Visitation Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Friday, Oct. 20, 2017 at 1pm with visitation one hour prior at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
