Rex Regan Schlosser

Rex Regan Schlosser, 74, passed away December 24, 2025. He was preceded in death by parents, Darrell and Betty Schlosser; and wife, Deanna Schlosser. Rex is survived by sons, Regan (Veronica) and Alex (Cammie) Schlosser; granddaughter, Angela Mastro; great-grandson, Antonio; and sister, Graselda Jean (Tony) Rudy. Rex was a great man, as well as an amazing father and husband. Full of knowledge, humor, and love. He graduated from Shawnee SR. High in Lima, OH. As well as the University of Northern Ohio. Rex was a Transportation specialist for the United States Airforce, joined in 1970. He served this role in Vietnam 1970-1971, as well as his reserves after a several year break. He served at Rickenbacker Air Force Base in the 40th Mobile Aerial Port, where he was accompanied by his wingman Pete Ellers who became a life long friend and brother. By 1993 he was transferred to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base where he joined the 87th Airial Port until his retirement in 2011 Dayton OH.

He was well recognized and received many awards throughout his career. He was also a full time nurse which is a job he highly loved and enjoyed and was very proud of. He will be missed dearly and remembered by many. May he rest in peace with his beloved wife, and his best companion Maddie.

Visitation Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 2-6pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
