Rhonda M. (Rust) Kantor was born on October 29, 1960, in Richmond, Indiana. She proudly served as a Deputy Sheriff in both Richmond, Kentucky, and Franklin County, Ohio. Rhonda's dedication to her work and her community was evident throughout her career.
A graduate of Richmond High School, Rhonda also pursued her passion for beauty as a licensed cosmetologist in Indiana. Her personality shone brightly in all aspects of her life; she was dedicated, loyal, witty, supportive, and compassionate. Rhonda's outgoing nature made her a loving wife, mother, and mamaw, and she was known as a good listener to those who sought her company.
Rhonda cherished her family and took great joy in attending her grandchildren's sport and school events. She was deeply committed to creating lasting memories with them. Her hobbies included going to country concerts, where she enjoyed being a part of Blake Shelton's fan club, the "BSers." Rhonda also loved taking trips to the ocean and visiting the casino.
She leaves behind her husband of 22 years, Brad Kantor; children Brad (Samantha) Kantor Jr., Brittney (Jay), Whittney (Justin) Lane, and Skyylar (Victoria) Kantor; grandchildren Hailey, Briee, Braylee, Brooklynn, Marley, Emiley, Jaxson, Hayden, Alayshia, Mason, Zuri, Zendaya, and Kayla; and her great-granddaughter, Oaklee. Her cousins Sheila (Orcutt) Toney, as well as her niece and nephews, Tabitha King, Anthony King, Joshua and Tyler Arnett. Rhonda's mother-in-law, Wanda Kantor; brother-in-law, Chad Kantor; and sister-in-law, Kim King will also miss her.
Rhonda is preceded in death by her mother, Ruby (Evans) Rust; her father, Ronald Rust; her grandparents, Nate and Clara (Goodridge) Evans; her brother, Randall Rust; and her cousin, Steve Orcutt. She passed away on March 9, 2026, in Galloway, Ohio, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication that will be remembered by many.
Visitation Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 4pm until the time of Funeral Service at 6pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery in Williamsburg, Indiana at 1pm on Thursday, March 19, 2026.
