Richard A. Best, 77 of Columbus, OH passed away on February 22, 2015 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital. Born on October 17, 1937 to the late Herman and Loretta (Buskirk) Best in Columbus, OH. Richard worked for the Board of Education for over 30 years. Survived by wife of 54 years Catherine (Bettes) Best, children Angela Best, Jeffrey Best, Richard Best Jr and Mary (Mike) Williams, grandson William Best and many other grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters Carol MacKenzie and Shirley Kiser. Preceded in death by daughter Loretta Collins, granddaughter Jordan Best and brother William Best.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 4pm until time of service at 6pm with Pastor William Snider officiating.
