Richard J "Joe" Adkins, 87, passed away Oct. 1, 2019.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Barbara Souders; parents, Margie and Lonnie Adkins; several brothers and sisters.
Joe is survived by wife of 53 years, Anna Adkins; children, Christina (Mark) Totman and Michael (Sharon) Cooper; grandchildren, Joshua and Andrew Totman, Sierra and Maxwell Cooper; other family and friends.
A special thank you to Nancy Ratcliff for her time and dedication; as well as Bill and Wilma McKenzie for their continual support. Joe served in the US Army and was an avid fisherman.
Visitation Monday, Oct. 7, 2019 from 11am until the time of Funeral Service at 1pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to OhioHealth Foundation/ Hospice/Kobacker House, Floor 31, 180 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43215-9519.
