He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann Chafins, parents, Richard & Florney Chafins, sisters, Ethel, Doris, Myrtle, daughter-in-law, Lisa Chafins.
Surviving family includes sons, Richard "Rick" (YinFong) Chafins, Bill Chafins, Don (Donna) Chafins, sister, Helen Dalton, grandchildren, Adam (Aiza), Aaron (Abbey), Andrew (Brett), Alicia (Patrick), Emily (Nathan), Kevin (Holly), Donny (Evie), Joshua, Ronnie, Summar, Amelia, Sophia, great-grandchildren, Shane, Averie, Alaina, Alden, Declan, Quinn, Luke, Grayson, Hunter, Emma, Scarlett, Asanti, Deztiny, Ella and Owen.
Visitation will be held from 11am - 12pm, Monday, March 10, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, OH, where a funeral service will begin at 12pm.
Burial will follow at Kingwood Memorial Park, Lewis Center, OH.
