Richard France Sr., age 94, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 25, 2018. He was born on March 7, 1923 in Columbus, OH.
Richard was a proud veteran of the US Army having served in World War II. He retired from the US Post Office as a regional manager in 1987.
Surviving family includes son, Richard (Cynthia) France Jr.; grandchildren, Bryan France and Christina France.
Preceded in death by wife of 67 years, Louise France; parents, Dorothy and Peter France.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 4-6 p.m. at Newcomer Grove City, 3393 Broadway, where military honors will be held at 6 p.m.
