Richard J. "Richie" Greene, 57, of Columbus passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016. Richie was born in Frankfurt, Germany on January 23, 1959, to Thomas J. and Rita I. (Borchert) Greene and is preceded in death by his mother; grandmother, Emma Borchert; niece, Ashley Mathias.
He is survived by his father, Thomas J. Greene; siblings, Angel (Mark) Tedrick, Mary-Ann (Keith) McKenzie, Doreen (Jeffrey) Long, Michael (Shannon) Greene, Chrissy (Robert) Milburn; great-nephew, Logan "Logie" Greene; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Richie worked at Riverside Hospital for 25 years.
Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231. Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, August 25, 2016, with burial to follow at Northlawn Memory Gardens.
