Age 88 of Galloway, Ohio passed away on Monday evening August 18, 2025
Born on November 7, 1936 in Toledo, Ohio to Russell and Ida (Cunningham) Mowery
Richard Mowery graduated from Macomber Vocational Technical School, a tornado brought him to Columbus where he worked as Automotive Repair Manager at Trader Bud’s Westside Dodge. In 1978 he forged out to operate and own Mowery’s Collision, Inc. currently located at 155 Phillipi Road, Columbus, Ohio serving the westside of Columbus proudly as he also served as a Mason for 41 years Blue Lodge in Columbus attaining 32nd Degree and Ambassador for Shriners. Started Hollywood Classic Car Club after the Hollywood Casino opened with other local car enthusiast was a true duffer and played golf all over the United States and on 3 continents also loved to bowl, coin collect, and trade stories with everyone. He was presided in death by Parents and two brothers Bill and Gordon Mowery. He was married to Paula (Francis) Mowery for 49 years until her passing 2 years ago. He is survived by daughter Sonia and (George) Wolfe, Grandchildren Mason and Malory (Wolfe), Great-Grandchild Mason Wolfe II. Many nieces and nephews from his two brothers.
