Richard "Rich" Joseph Murtaugh, 59, of Columbus, passed away on January 21, 2026 at his residence.
He was born on August 18, 1966 to Earl Richard Coffmon and Barbara (Bell) at Cherry Point, NC.
Richard is survived by his loving, sisters, Kelly Whiting, Jennifer Coffmon, and Erielle Jenkins; father, Earl Richard Coffmon; daughter, Megan Keith; many aunts, uncles, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Bell.
Per his wishes, no services are being held at this time.
