Richard "Rick"L. Turner

Richard "Rick" Leroy Turner, 63, departed peacefully from this life on Thursday, January 15, 2015 in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on April 29, 1951 to the late Leroy Turner & Judy (Faller) Turner.
Rick was a 1969 graduate of Linden McKinley High School. He retired from The Kroger Company, after 35 years of devoted service, while also taking great pride in being a union steward for UFCW, Local Chapter 1059. Rick was a music enthusiast and avid Cincinnati Reds fan. He loved playing golf, enjoyed spending time with his family of friends and devoting time to charity events.
He is survived by his children, Amy Turner and Daniel (Courtney) Turner; granddaughter, Kennedy; sisters, Virginia (Bill) Curry and Debra (Barry) Nelson; nieces, Roxanne and Whitney; and nephew, Randy.
The family will host a Celebration of Life Gathering on Saturday (TODAY), January 17, 2015. Please contact the family for additional details. Memorial donations may be made to www.marchofdimes.org.
