Richard Sheridan Brown

Richard Sheridan Brown, 68, of Columbus, died March 2, 2014. Richard was born in Youngstown, OH on April 14, 1945, to the late William F. and Catherine M. (Pitzer) Brown.
Richard is survived by his sister, Mary Ellen (Earl) Edwards; brother, William Foster Brown Jr; nieces and nephews, Vanessa (Tim) Brown- O'Reilly, William E. (Bethany) Brown; Dan (Brenda) Edwards, Julie (Bob) Gandley and Michelle (Rich) Longway; numerous great-nieces and nephews and many friends.
Richard attended Youngstown State University, and was a man of many talents. Among his many activities, he was an owner/operator of an Inn, Elkins, WV; held various government positions; and, enjoyed rehabbing homes.
A gathering for family and friends will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014, 11:00 am – 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231.
