Ritchie Lee Wilson, 73, born in Cambridge, OH to Homer R. and Virginia Warden Wilson, passed away April 18, 2016. He leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Nancy A. (Lauer) Wilson; daughter, Mary C. (Robin Strohm) Wilson; son, David L. (Genelle) Wilson; grandchildren, Brendan, Marissa, and Allison Wilson; brother, Timothy (Jeannette) Wilson of Cambridge; brother-in-law, Fred (Bonnie) Lauer; 4 nieces; 2 cousins; 3 great-nieces; and 1 great-nephew.
Ritch graduated from Cambridge High School and then attended Ohio State and Wittenburg University. He worked for the State Auditors Office, was Deputy Treasurer of Franklin Co., and Director of Management and Budget for the City of Columbus during the Rinehart Administration. Once he retired he worked at the Maneheim Auto Auction. Ritch was also a member of #66 Masonic Lodge in Cambridge and Valley of Cambridge Scottish Rite.
Memorial Service Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 1pm with gathering from 11am to 1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ritch's memory to Mount Carmel Hospice C/O Mount Carmel Foundation, 6150 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213-9924 or Happy Trails Children's Foundation, 10755 Apple Valley Rd., Apple Valley, CA 92308 (www.happytrails.org).
