Robert "Bob" Blackstone, age 82, beloved father and grandfather, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018. He was born July 5, 1936 in Dundas, OH.
He is survived by daughter, Debbie (Chris) Stevens; son, Nick (Cindy) Blackstone; grandchildren, Shilowe Long, Leza Holloway, Chloe Long, Audrey Blackstone-Gutierrez and Gabriele Blackstone; siblings, Eleanor Bryan, Mary Ann Rice, Becky Ervin, Paul Blackstone and Frank Blackstone and former wife, Helen Blackstone.
Preceded in death by parents, Ralph and Gladys Blackstone; brother, Chuck Blackstone, former wife Rosemary Blackstone and former wife Mary Blackstone.
Bob was born in Dunas, OH on July 5, 1936. After graduating from McArther High School in 1954, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting, Cincinnati Reds games and his family. He will be remembered most as a godly man who faithfully prayed for this family every day. His smile and encouraging words will be missed by all.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Faith Community Church of God, 4203 Alkire Rd., Grove City, OH 43123, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Robert's name to Faith Community Church of God.
