Robert "Bob" E. Ackerman, Sr.

Robert “Bob” E. Ackerman, Sr., 67, of Columbus, passed away in the early morning hours of June 14, 2026. He was born on March 15, 1959 in Chillicothe to the late Paul and Erma (Bosworth) Ackerman.

Along with his loving wife, Julie, of over 45 years, Bob is survived by two children, Robert “Bobby” Ackerman, Jr. (Susan) and Kristie Tabor (Chris); five grandchildren, (Ava, Alex, Chase, Paislee, Maddox); two siblings, Roger (Brenda) and David (Kathy)Ackerman; brother-in-law, Robert (Carolyn) Smolinski; mother-in-law, Charlotte Smolinski; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
