Robert R. Carey Jr.

Robert R. Carey Jr., age 61, passed away at home surrounded by his family and "fittingly on Tax Day" on April 15, 2020. He was born on September 14, 1958 in Huntington, West Virginia.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Robert R. Carey Sr.; grandparents, Horace and Rhoda Carey; best friend, Bill Brenner.
Left to cherish his memory is the love of his life, his wife of 32 years, Kimberly; children, Heather Buchan, Eric (Dana) Carey, Alan (Chelsea) Carey, Sarah Carey; mother, Rose Brady; grandchildren, Raylynn, David, Serenity, Matthew, Adalie, Maxwell, Penelope, Kendra and Sydney; siblings, Anthony, Brenda and Scott.
Bob was an active member and Elder of Buckeye Christian Church and an avid OSU Buckeye fan. His children and grandchildren were everything to him and he cherished his wife. Bob was in many bowling leagues over the years and was proud of the time he bowled a "perfect 300 game."
It brings us comfort knowing that through Bob's faith, he is resting in the arms of Jesus.
The Memorial Service will be held at 12:15 p.m. at Buckeye Christian Church, 1528 London-Groveport Road in Grove City. Friends and Family will gather from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Please allow a few moments in between the gathering and service for us to set-up. Masks are not required but recommended.
