Robert E. Dool, age 53, passed away Monday, March 4, 2019. He was born on April 9, 1965 in Niles, MI.
Rob was employed with AEP for over 30 years as a Financial Modeling Consultant, a member of First Presbyterian Church of Grove City, served as Troop Leader with BSA Troop 136 Grove City and was a member of Simon Kenton Counsel. He was Valedictorian of Cassopolis High School Class of 1983, continued on to Michigan Tech College receiving his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1987 and Masters of Business Administration from The Ohio State University Fisher School of Business in 1998. Rob was also a life loyal member of Alpha Kappa Psi and Theta Kappa Chapter.
He was a great inspiration to the boys of Troop 136, a beloved father and friend to many who held him dear.
Surviving family includes son, Robert J. Dool of Grove City, OH; step-son, Jeremiah and Felicia Young of Galloway, OH; granddaughters, Sophia and Vera Young; brother, Craig D. Dool of Cassopolis, MI; niece, Michelle Myers; nephews, Jason Dool and Brandon and Erica Maynard with their children, Lexus, MaKenzie, Brandon and Kylie.
Preceded in death by parents, Robert D. "Bud" Dool and Anita J. Dool of Cassopolis; sister, Sandra K. Maynard of Cassopolis.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 5-8PM at Newcomer Grove City, 3393 Broadway.
Funeral service will be held Monday, March 11, 2019 at 11AM at First Presbyterian Church, 4227 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123, with visitation beginning at 10AM.
Burial to follow at Grove City Cemetery - New Section, Grove City, OH 43123
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Robert's memory to Troop 136/Simon Kenton Council, 4227 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
