He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Florence Farthing, wife, Barbara, two sisters, 3 brothers, children, Helen and Randy Wells grandson, Dustin Lindsey, in-laws, Ted and Helen Sego.
Surviving family includes children, Robert (Sherry) Farthing Jr., Kevin (Donna) Farthing, Jodi Bailey, Dawn Hurst, Lyman "Sonny" (Liz Vaccaro) Lindsey, Dennis Lindsey, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10-11:30am, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where a funeral service will begin at 11:30am.
