Robert D. Forbes, 79, passed away Nov. 6, 2017.
He was preceded in death by parents, Orpha L. and John D. Forbes; and several siblings.
Bob is survived by wife of 60 years, June; sons, Johnny (Theresa) and Gary (Becky) Forbes; grandchildren, Johnny D. Forbes II, April (Ryan) Retherford, Eric (Brittany) Forbes, and Ashley (Dirk) Thomas; great-grandchildren, Noah, Donovan, Brayden, Ryan II, Paisley, Reed, Knox, and Johnny; siblings, Mary Jackson, Joann Mohler, and Jane (Dave) Jackson; extended family and friends.
Bob served his country in the United States Army. He was a member and retired from Iron Workers Local 172 after many years.
A special thank you to Mt. Carmel Hospice for their excellent care.
Visitation Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017 from 1-4pm at Newcomer, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Monday, Nov. 13, 2017 at 10am at Newcomer, Grove City. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, OH.
