Robert L. Gabbert, Sr., 84, passed away April 12, 2014 in Orange Park, FL. He was preceded in death by parents; sister, Marie; and brother, Bill.
Survived by wife of 59 years, Rita (Cruse); children, Bob Jr., Larry (Robin) and Keith (Douglis); 8 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation Friday, April 18, 2014 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. A Moose Service will be held at 7pm that evening. A funeral service will be held at 10 am, Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the American Heart Association, Great Rivers Affiliate, P.O. Box 15120, Chicago, IL 60693-5120.
