Robert Stanley Gray Jr., age 65, passed away on September 14, 2020. He was born on December 17, 1954 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to the late Evelyn and Robert Stanley Gray Sr.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 42 years, Carol; children, Sarah (Dan) Wharton, Courtney (Andrew) Allton and Toby Gray; siblings, Mary Lou Gray, Ronnie (Kathy) Gray and Marci (Bob) Stein; grandchildren, Everly, Kaylee, Cooper and Adler; many close friends and other relatives. Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Gray Sr. and granddaughter, Selah Paige.
Bob was a man of God and was a devoted member and leader of Gateway Church in Grove City. His faith in God carried him through his 5-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Bob was part of AMSpirit in Grove City, was a coach and trainer with The John Maxwell Team and a proud business owner. Everything he was involved in was to encourage and lead others closer to God. Bob cherished family, especially his grandchildren who called him, "Peepaw." He was a faithful and loyal husband to his soulmate, Carol. As a father, he was quiet but strong, goofy and loving. Bob was a true provider who exemplified how to have a good work ethic. As a father-in-law, he was a pillar of strength and extremely encouraging. To the extended family he was well-respected, beloved and a true patriarch. His smile and laugh were infectious. And as Bob always said, "God is good all the time... and all the time God is good."
Per his wishes, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
This was Bob's life verse:
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
-Isaiah 40:31
