He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Charlotte Hegarty.
Surviving family includes wife, Norma, sons, Michael (Karen) Hegarty, Tim (Connie) Hegarty, Terry (Karen) Hegarty, Pat (Lynda) Hegarty, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1-2pm, Sunday, February 25th, 2018 at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where a funeral service will begin at 2pm.
