Robert W. Hoskins "Bob"

Robert W. Hoskins "Bob" passed away on October 9, 2026. He was born on January 14, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio.

Bob was a 1970 graduate of Thomas Worthington High School. He also attended The Ohio State University. Bob was a member of the PGA of America for 49 years. He was the head golf professional at York Golf Club for 20+ years. He was the golf professional of the year in the southern Ohio section in 1988. He was also honored with a life membership time membership to the PGA of America. Bob spent the last 20 years with Jennifer living in Estero, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sr. and Elizabeth, sister, Carol Beidelman, brother, Richard Hoskins.

Surviving family includes wife of 48 years, Jennifer Hoskins, children, Rob (Erin) Hoskins, Renee (Derek) Salinas, grandchildren, Lucas, Chloe, Kayley, Kristen, brother, Michael (Cynthia) Hoskins, nieces, Lindsay Hoskins, Bethany Franey, nephews, Brian Hoskins and Rob Beidelman and his beloved dog, Carly.

Visitation will be held from 2-4pm, Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home, NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, Ohio.

Graveside services will begin at  2pm, Monday, October 19, 2026, at Kingwood Memorial Park, Lewis Center, Ohio.
