Robert Lee Starner, Sr., 76 of Columbus, passed away at the Kobacker House surrounded by his loving family on September 16, 2014. Born on January 9, 1938 to the late Albert, Sr. and Gladys Starner in Columbus, Ohio. Robert served his country in the U.S Navy. Survived by loving wife of 31 years Gracie (Ward) Starner, children Robert Lee (Maria) Starner, Jr., Johnny (Billie Jo) Starner, Teresa (Bryant) VanGelow, Debbie Ward, Beatrice Holley and Tonja (Doug) Mills, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers Albert, Jr. (Ann), Ronald (Sharon), Donald (Janice) and Larry (Sue) Starner and sister Norma, many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Preceded in death by son Joe Williams, brother Tom and sisters Shirley and JoAnn.

Per Robert's request a cremation will be taking place at Newcomer Funeral Home.
