Robert Leo "Bob" Mabe

Robert Leo "Bob" Mabe, of Grove City, Ohio was born on March 14, 1935, in McComas, West Virginia, passed away on May 16, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio. Bob was a beloved figure in his community, known for his warmth and kindness. He dedicated 23 years of his life as the owner of Leo's Auto Service, making countless friends along the way. Bob had a passion for people; he loved them, and they loved him back.

Throughout his life, Bob enjoyed many adventures and travels. He cherished visits to the Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg, and Alaska. Bob also found joy in traveling to the Holy Land and Egypt, often taking road trips to anywhere his heart led him. His zest for life was reflected in his hobbies, which included NASCAR, hunting, fishing, camping, and building things.

Bob is survived by his sons, Don (Maxine) and Terry (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Michelle, Christopher, and Matthew (Candace); and great-grandchildren, Audrey, Reagan, Evelyn, and Maverick. He is also remembered by his sisters, Barbara (Guy) Capocciama and Brenda Click, and his brother, Jason Mabe, along with many nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Grace, with whom he shared 68 years. He is also reunited with his parents, Robert and Minnie (Abshire) Mabe, and his grandson, Ryan Mabe.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest, located at 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123, on May 25, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at the same location at 2:00 PM.
