Robert "Lucky" Pike, 83, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, May 30, 2016. He was born to Charles and Marie Pike on June 23, 1932 in San Francisco, California and is preceded in death by both of his parents, his beloved wife 60 years, Nita "Jitters" Pike and sister, Barbara Cress
Robert is survived by his sons, Bobby and Steven Pike; sister, Karen Rice and grandchildren, Tommy and Nicole. Robert will be missed by many other family and friends.
Robert served in the Air Force in Germany. He was an avid boater and took his boat "Lucky-Jitters" out every weekend. He was an ambulance driver when he was just 17, delivering a baby in the course of his service. Robert was involved with his family construction business, C. W. Pike and Son. He was a member of the Aladdin Shrine and the local Masonic Lodge.
Robert was a great father and husband and his loss will be deeply felt by his entire family.
Services will be at Glenwood Methodist Church, 2833 Valleyview Drive Columbus, Ohio 43204 on Saturday 6/11/2016 at 11:00AM.
