Robert Thompson, 78 of Groveport, OH, lost his battle with cancer on August 20, 2014. Born on August 17, 1936 to the late Robert and Sadie (Pack) Thompson in Kermit, WV. Survived by daughter Sherry (Pat) Johnson, grandchildren Holly (Billy), Roy (Dava), Brandy (Jacob) and Josh, great grandchildren Curtis, Mariah, Cheyenne and Adrianna, sisters Goldie Hahn and Martha Conkey, brothers Jack (Linda), Ernest (Karlene) and Glen Thompson. Preceded in death by sons Bobby and Ricky, siblings Garlen, Mack, Marcie and Margie Kyle.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Monday, August 25, 2014 from 11am until time of service at 1pm with Pastor Ron Goodling officiating.
Burial to follow at Obetz Cemetery.
