Robert Stiles

Bob Stiles, 62, of Columbus, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Lamar and Mary (Pendleton) Brink on April 9, 1953 in Columbus. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jerry Stiles. He is survived by his children; brothers, Marty and Leslie Stiles; sister, Cathy (Lowell) Cordle; nephews, Sean Stiles, Tristin Tipton, Brendon Tipton, Joshua Estep,Terry Estep, Larry Estep, Miland Estep,Billy Estep,and Billy Estep, Jr.,Justin James Estep; nieces, Mya Estep and Breanna Tipton.

Bob was a veteran of the US Army and the Viet Nam War. He was proud to serve his country.

Bob gave guitars new life by saving and fixing them when other thought they were beyond saving. He loved to fish. He also brought fishing poles back to useful life. He loved to laugh and was an uplifting spirit. He had a wry sense of humor and brought laughter to everyone who knew him. He had many, many friends who will miss him deeply. He was a kind person who loved animals and animals knew he loved them. Bob will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.
