Robin Capri Anderson, lovingly known as Rockin' Robin, Robbie, and to those closest to her, "Raven," passed away peacefully at her home in Columbus, Ohio, on July 4, 2026, at the age of 69.
Born on March 27, 1957, in Dayton, Ohio, Robin displayed exceptional intelligence from an early age, skipping a grade and excelling as a straight-A student in Catholic school. She attended Mifflin and Eastmoor High Schools before attending The Ohio State University majoring in Business Management and Communications.
Robin enjoyed an accomplished career marked by leadership, professionalism, and integrity. After founding a successful modeling agency, she built a career in telecommunications with AT&T, where she became a respected sales executive known for mentoring others, building record-breaking teams, and leading with both excellence and compassion. She later retired from Micro Center before helping promote her husband Ronald's artwork.
Robin’s greatest pride was her family. She married the love of her life, Ronald Tyrone Anderson, on April 18, 1982, and together they raised two sons, Christopher and Brandon, in a home filled with love, laughter, and imagination. Robin made every birthday, Christmas, and Thanksgiving unforgettable, planned family adventures across the country, and encouraged a lifelong love of learning.
Robin's love only grew as she became "Grandmother" to Miles and Keira. She delighted in making every celebration magical and had a remarkable gift for finding thoughtful, personal ways to make each family member feel deeply loved.
A lifelong Catholic, Robin quietly lived her faith through extraordinary generosity. She faithfully supported St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, donated to charities and food banks, helped struggling families, provided meals, paid rent for those in need, and gave without expecting recognition. Her kindness knew no limits, and she always placed the needs of others before her own.
Robin found joy in books, music, the theater, fantasy, dragons, castles, spy stories, traveling, cooking, and gathering her family together. Though naturally reserved with strangers, she filled her home with laughter, dancing, movie quotes, playful spy codenames, and favorite expressions like "Good googly moogly!" and "You can never have too many socks."
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Everett Rhodes and Dolores Adele Rhodes, and her sister, Kim Weaver.
Robin is survived by her devoted husband, Ronald Tyrone Anderson; her sons, Christopher Garrett Anderson (Nataša) and Brandon Everett Anderson; her cherished grandchildren, Miles Stephen Anderson and Keira Ariana Anderson; her siblings, Gina Rhodes and Daryl Rhodes; and countless relatives, friends, colleagues, and others whose lives were forever touched by her kindness.
Robin's greatest legacy was never measured by her vast career or accomplishments, but by the love she poured into every person fortunate enough to know her. She taught those around her to lead with compassion, give without hesitation, seek knowledge, embrace joy in life's simple moments, and always care for those who needed it most. Her light lives on in the family she cherished, the lives she uplifted, and the countless memories she created with extraordinary love.
Memorial donations in Robin's name can be made to St. Joan of Arc Church.
