Roderick "Rod" D. Gray, born on July 18, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio, passed away on March 24, 2026, in Grove City, Ohio. Rod was a proud graduate of Grove City High School, class of 1974.

Known for his very outgoing nature, Rod was a man who always spoke his mind, no matter what others thought. He was a jokester, and people liked him for his honesty and sense of humor. Beyond his fun-loving side, Rod was a loving husband and a good brother who cared deeply for his family.

Rod had a great passion for sports. He loved cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes and enjoyed watching wrestling. When he was not watching games, he could often be found playing pool or bowling, activities that he truly enjoyed.

Rod is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Melody. He is also survived by his siblings, Jeff Gray (and Buffy), Cindy Claytor, and Michael Gray, along with his sister-in-law Brenda Wolf. He leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will remember him fondly. Rod also had special friends who meant a great deal to him, including Darryl Kelly, Barb Harter-Newcomb, Catherine Boyd and her family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Jo Ann (Dennis) Gray, his brother Karl Gray, and his brother-in-law Bill Grace. Rod also lost special friends Teresa and Wolf before his passing.

Rod Gray will be remembered for his genuine personality, his loyalty to those he loved, and the joy he brought to everyone who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
