Roger Kinsell

Roger Kinsell, 85, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026 in Columbus, Ohio. Roger was born on October 23, 1940 in Pickaway, Ohio to Roger A. and Helen J. (Brown) Kinsell.

Roger is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Louise Kinsell, step-sons, Paul (Diana) Ferrara and Arthur (Angie) Ferrara; grandchildren, Ashley (Zachary) Beacom, Brittany (Nealon) Richards, Alex (Shahed) Ferrara, A.J. Ferrara, Alyssia Ferrara; and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was a member of the Elks Lodge #37 as the trustee and secretary for 55 years. He was an avid bowler, achieving one 300 game and one 800 series. He graduated from Central High School in 1959. He worked at Saxton Real Estate for 30 years. He love golfing and rooting on all Buckeye sports, as well as his beloved Cleveland Browns. He was a family man, including attending his grandchildren and great-grandchildren's events. As a boy, he loved spending time on the family farm with his grandparents.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from noon to 2:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231. A funeral service will be held immediately after also at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel.
