Roger Earl McLane

Roger McLane, 78 of Columbus, Ohio, passed away May 29. Roger was born August first, 1948, in Columbus, Ohio, to Wilbur McLane and Mava (Rhoads) McLane.

He was an artist and a folk-art lover. He was a Vietnam War veteran and a distinguished member of the Columbus Food Community.

Roger will be deeply missed by his brothers, Bob McLane of Pensacola, Florida, Tim McLane of Columbus, Ohio, and sister Nancy (John) Frye of Pensacola, Florida, and niece Gillian (Mitch) Shepherd of Benson, North Carolina. 

Roger was preceded in death by his cherished partner, Marta Capotosta.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 4th, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus. A memorial service will follow immediately.
