Ronald Bender

Ronald Lee Bender age 75, peacefully entered his heavenly home with his lord and savior Jesus Christ on May 17th, 2014. His life's journey began June 29th, 1938.

He is preceded in death by the love of his life Loretta Sue Bender, wife of 54 years. Parents Howard and Opal Bender.

Survived by, Brother Howard Bender, Son, Timothy L Bender, Daughter-in-law Connie Bender. Daughters, Penny E Newman, Son-in-Law Dr. Ralph Newman, Angela F Casparro-DeWeese, Son-in-law Michael DeWeese, Grandchildren Matt (Erin) Bender, Hanna, Heather,(Tim) Wenzel, Joshua, Jessica, Amanda, Brandon and two great-grandchildren.

He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather who loved sharing the good news of everlasting life through our savior Jesus Christ. He also enjoyed fishing, coin collecting and was a lifelong Buckeye fan. He was a member of Canaan Land Free Will Baptist Church and a former member of Southwest Free Will Baptist Church.

Calling hours for family and friends will be May 22nd between the hours of 11am-1pm. Service to follow beginning at 1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home located at 3393 Broadway in Grove City (614)539-6166. Pastor Gilbert Jarrell to officiate. Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery.
