Ronald Keith Bricker, age 70, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away December 14, 2016, peacefully at his home surrounded by family and friends.
Born in Pottstown, Pennsylvania to his mother, Barbara "Bobbie" (Ferden) Bricker and his father, Richard B. Bricker. He was a graduate of Big Walnut High School in Sunbury, Ohio, class of 1965. He attended The Ohio State University prior to being drafted by the United States Army and fought proudly, being awarded the Bronze Star for his courage in the Vietnam War. Once he returned, he graduated from Franklin University, in 1977, with a BS in Business Administration.
With a deep faith and commitment to God, family and friends, Ron spent his free time volunteering and helping people in need. He had a kind heart and never met a stranger. Traveling was a passion of Ron's and he enjoyed taking over 30 trips and has been to all corners of the world. His favorite country being Egypt and seeing all the biblical sites.
Preceded in death are his parents, younger brother, Randall Dennis Bricker; first grand-pup, Cosmo.
Ron had a tremendous love for his daughter, Amy, and his grand-pups, Max and Dexter. Others left to cherish his memory include his brothers Roger Bricker (Donna) of Arizona and Richard (Agnes) of Virginia; Sister, Nancy (Wayne) Miller of Tennessee and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Sunday, December 18, 2016 from 3pm to 6pm. Funeral service on Monday at 2:30pm at the funeral home.
Burial to follow at Blendon Central Cemetery, Westerville, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Salvation Army.
