Ronald E. Adkins

Ronald E. Adkins, 61, of Columbus, OH, passed away January 5, 2014 with his family at his side. He is preceded in death by his father Otto Adkins, brothers, Dennis and Steve Adkins.

Survived by loving wife of 40 years, Gretchen, children, Tiffany (Jay) Welbourn of Monrovia, MD, Ronnie Adkins Jr., mother, Tatsianna Adkins, mother-in-law, Barbara Walker, grandchildren, Mallory and Jenna Welbourn, Morgan and Logan Hall, numerous in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Ron was a machinist working 28 years for Union Fork and Hoe and several years with Columbus Col Weld. Ron was a member of the Moose Lodge #11 and life member of the Hilltop Sportsmen's Club.

Visitation will be held from 1-3 and 5-7pm, Thursday, January 9, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where a memorial service will begin at 7pm.
