Ronald Gene Phillips, 76, passed away January 17, 2023. Ron is survived by wife of 53 years, Judith I. Phillips; children, Brenda Phillips, Beth Ann (Rick) Sindledecker, Charles Phillips, Christina Phillips, Timothy Phillips, and Rebecca (Andrew) Carpenter; grandchildren, Damien Phillips, Andrew Barcus, Brandon Barcus, Tyler Sindledecker, Jaxson Phillips, Addison Phillips, Anderson Carpenter, and Maxwell Carpenter; one great-grandson; brother, David (Mary) Phillips.
Ron was a man of God who helped his community. He served the United States in the Air Force, Army Reserve and Army National Guard for 20 years. Ron worked as a Deputy Sheriff in Mt. Gilead and as a Private Investigator. He also had a computer business. Ron loved spending time with his grandchildren.
There will be a Celebration of Life Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023 at 2 pm at Trinity Assembly of God, 1112 Demorest Rd., Columbus Ohio 43204. Pastor Ken Keene to officiate.
Ron's family will be laying him to rest at Dayton National Cemetery.
