Ronald E. Walker, 76, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 22, 2016. He was born in Columbus, Ohio to Byron and Dorothy (VanGundy) Walker on November 6, 1939. He is preceded by his parents.
Ron is survived by his daughters, Rhonda Roberts and Melody (Brett) Dawson; stepsons, Robert (Tina) DeMatteo and Tom (Kim) DeMatteo; beloved great-grandson, Austin Roberts; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Janice (Bill) Baum; brother, Mike (Debbie) Walker. In his last days, Ron was cared for by his great-grandson, Austin, daughter, Rhonda and granddaughter, NaTasha. Ron will be missed by everyone in his family as well as all of his special friends and neighbors too numerous to list.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Ohio Health Hospice for their support and kindness during this difficult time.
A service will be held at a future time.
