Rosalyn (Colabrese) Miller
Rosalyn Ann (Colabrese) Miller passed away on Thursday, February 18, leaving her family and friends with cherished memories of her steadfast love, compassion and good spirit.
"Ro" loved above all else her family, cherishing their accomplishments and lavishing them with unconditional love and support.
She delighted in playing Euchre (especially if she won), watching her beloved Buckeyes (even if they lost) and speeding down Buckeye Lake on a boat (while telling her husband to "drive faster.'')
A uniquely caring and loving person, she took immeasurable pleasure in life's biggest moments while also finding inspiration in simple joys -- the twinkle of a Christmas light or the smell of flowers in the air.
She will be deeply missed by many.
Ro graduated from St. Joseph Academy. She retired from Colelli Productions after many years serving as controller / vice president. Previously, she worked as the bookkeeper for the Dargusch and Day Law Firm and for Richard J. Albanese, CPA.
She served as Treasurer of the Buckeye Lake Yacht Club Women's Auxiliary and was a member of the Harbor Hills Women's Association.
Preceded in death by her beloved mother Nell Hardin; grandparents Nicolina and Peter Albanese; and Uncle and Aunt Richard (Jean) Albanese.
Survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Joseph J. Miller; daughters Jan (Mark) Girard of Pickerington, OH; Judy Miller of Miami, FL, and partner Caroline Meek; sons Jim (Diana) Miller and Jeff Miller of Columbus, OH; grandsons Brian Girard, Matt (Amy) Girard and Joey Miller; granddaughter Jessica Ashmore; and great-grandchildren Jack Leary and Lily Dranschak.
Friends may call on the family from 3 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Brice United Methodist Church, 3160 Brice Road, Brice Ohio 43109. Service will immediately follow the calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Faith Mission – Columbus.
