She loved the Lord; her beauty, kindness, laughter, and the ability to listen to others, hold their secrets, this was Queen Rose A. Almond and more. Born to Mattie Lou and JP Almond in Jenkins, KY on February 16, 1931. Preceded in death by parents and sisters: Sadie Mae Harris, Annie Mae Brown and Willie Helen Smith, and a special friend Rudolph Singleton (Singletary). Queen Rose leaves to cherish, Helen Denise Almond-Dillard, Patricia Almond (Everett Lee Jr. deceased) Spencer, Curtis Lee (Ivy) Almond, grandchildren and great grandchildren William Dwayne Dillard (daughter Natoria Danae), Damon Lee (Gwendolyn Elise) Dillard (children Damon Lee, Lynnelle, Devin, Marcus, Alexus, Depriest, Daelin and Daelia), Dionne Denise (Michelle), Curtis Michael Almond-Tate, great great grandchild Penelope Rose Stewart, nieces and nephews left in love: G. Victoria Brown (Special), Tommy (Judia) Brown Louise Renea Williams and her significant other known as "My Jack", Valerie Ann Parker, Wanda Fay Smith (Larry) Evans. Also a host of great and great great nieces and nephews. Other special friends: Margaret King-Upton, Bobbie Eatman-Hooks, Paulette Payne, Reggie Washington, cousin Thomas Gray and James Washington.

Friends may call at Newcomer, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus on Monday, April 30, 2017 from 11:00am until time of service at 12:00pm with Elder Melvin Frances officiating.
Burial to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
