Rose Meddles, 83, passed away on April 17, 2014 in Columbus, OH. She was born on February 25, 1931 in Cambridge, MA to Saverio Del Bouno and Donatella Gelsomino.
Rose is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Mary, John, Ralph, and Tony; son, Glen Bellomy; and grandchildren, Robert Bellomy and Dianna Newsome.
She is survived by her children, Donatella Gilliam, Leslie Parker, Joe Bellomy, Jason Meddles, and Steven Meddles; daughters-in-law, Leigh Bellomy, Patti Pepper, and Jennifer Meddles; grandchildren, J.T., Rachael, Danielle, Shane, Nathan, Ian, Timothy, Yashi, Mackenzie, Ryan, Haley, Kent, and Gabrielle; great grandchildren, Aiden, Kalliope, Jon, and another on the way; sister, Frances Driscoll; and many other loving family members and friends.
A visitation for Rose will be from 11:00am-1:00pm on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, OH 43231 followed by a funeral service at 1:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Glen Rest Memorial Estates. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerColumbus.com.
