Rosemarie "Paddy" Mills

Rosemarie “Paddy” (Snyder) Mills passed away peacefully on September 29, 2026, surrounded by those who loved her.

Born in England during World War II, Paddy entered the world during an extraordinary time in history. She later made her home in both Pennsylvania and Ohio, building a life centered around the family she loved.

Paddy is survived by her loving daughters, Kathy Baker and Dawn Adair; her grandsons, Everett (Ashley) Johnson, David Schwertfager, and Evan Schwertfager; and her beloved feline companion, Sparky.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sanford L. Snyder; her mother, Rosemary (Bellars) Snyder; and her brother, Sanford C. “Brub” Snyder.

Paddy will be remembered most for the place she held within her family and for the memories she leaves with those who knew and loved her. Her life spanned generations, places, and remarkable changes in the world, but family remained at the heart of it.

The family will hold a private visitation for family members only.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Paddy’s memory may make a donation to Luminary Hospice.
