Rosemary Hill went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 14, 2026. She was born on August 7, 1936 to Marion and Hazel Crabtree in Louisa, Kentucky. Rosemary is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harvey Hill, her sons Mark, Brian and Stephen Hill, her grandsons Paul Hill and Christopher Hunter, her sisters Martha Crabtree, Wilma Chaffin, Annie Cramlitt and Clara Crabtree, and her brothers Harvey "David" Crabtree, Howard "H" Crabtree and Ishmael Crabtree.
Rosemary lived a big portion of her life in Groveport, Ohio, and moved to Blacklick Estates in the early 70s, until she passed away. Rosemary and Harvey were married on October 24, 1953. They had nine children together. During her lifetime, Rosemary worked at several jobs including the Julian Kokenge Shoe Factory, the Eskimo Creme in Groveport, Ohio and JC Penney Outlet in Brice, where she retired from.
Rosemary loved the Lord with all her heart and was a member of the Parsons Avenue Church of God, CGMA in Columbus, Ohio.
At one time Rosemary was an avid amateur horseshoe player, which she loved throwing in the backyard with her family. She loved spending time with her family especially on Sundays for lunch at her home after church. Some of Rosemary's hobbies included quilting, crocheting, of course working jigsaw puzzles, and she loved studying her Bible.
Rosemary is survived by her son Phil Hill, her daughters Carolyn (Scott) Hamilton, Pamela Poling, Tammy (Jim) McCabe, Hope (John) Ripley, Malinda (Del) Molkentine, and her other daughter Susan Hill, her sisters Maxine Rodgers, Violet Schryer, Linda Ellis, Brenda "Gail" Ross, and Elizabeth "Liz" Albaugh, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and her good friend Jeanette Ross, and her adopted grandson JD Schleppi.
Rosemary's showing will be Friday, February 20, 2026 at 11am and the funeral will be at 1pm at Parsons Avenue Church of God, 3389 Parsons Avenue, Columbus, OH with Pastor Louis Hoover officiating.
Rosemary will be laid to rest at Obetz Cemetery.
