Rosie Mae Harber, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026. Born on March 6, 1937, in Mason, West Virginia, Rosie Mae lived a full life marked by love, dedication, and a passion for family and personal enrichment.
Rosie's life journey was one enriched by her various interests and hobbies, which included a profound love for reading, active participation at the YMCA, leisurely travels to the beach, and most importantly, spending treasured time with her family. These passions reflected her generous spirit and her commitment to nurturing relationships with those she held dear.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Diana (Rick) Estep; her sons Leroy Harber (Connie) and Wayne Harber (Stacey); and her grandchildren Greg Estep (Denise), Kristi Murray (James), Jamie Harber (Ginny), Crystal Harber (Brian), Justin Harber, and Clay Siebold. Her legacy further extends to 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren, along with many other family members and friends whose lives she touched deeply.
Rosie was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Everett Fowler and Martha Hughes, as well as her husband Donald Harber. She also joins her sister Maxine Fowler, brother Jim Fowler, and grandson Ricky Estep Jr. in eternal rest. Their memories remain etched in the hearts of all who knew her.
A visitation to honor Rosie Mae's life will be held on April 30, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northeast, located at 3047 E Dublin Granville Rd, Columbus, Ohio, 43231. This will be followed by a funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the same location, where family, friends, and loved ones will gather to celebrate her life and legacy. Burial will follow at Blendon Central Cemetery.
Rosie Mae Harber’s presence enriched the lives of many, and her memory will continue to inspire those who knew her. She will be remembered with warmth, respect, and gratitude for the enduring love and joy she brought to her family and community.
