Roy Allen Davis, beloved husband to his late beloved wife Laura M. Davis, dad, grandfather, and great-grandfather, went to heaven on August 5, 2025 at the age of 82. He was born to Robert and Lida Davis in Columbus, OH.

Preceded in death by his wife Laura Davis, daughter Mindy, sister Wanda, brother Bud, and many friends.

Roy was a very dedicated Christian who lived a life of faith and hard work.

He was married to Laura, his childhood sweetheart, for sixty-one years. Together they raised a family rooted in love, tradition, and strength.

He enjoyed spending time with his family; his home was where everyone gathered. He loved taking camping trips and sharing good conversations. Roy was a true jack of all trades. He loved building things with his hands and sharing that wisdom with his family. Whether it was fixing, crafting, or creating, he took pride in his work and found joy in making things better for those he loved.

He passed on a legacy of love, faith, and commitment that will be cherished by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children: Roy Jr. (Terri) Davis, George (Esther) Davis, Bonnie Davis, Connie (Mark) Aurentz, Annie Corbin.

He was the best Grandfather to thirteen and Great-Grandfather to thirteen.

Memories of Roy will be shared and his life celebrated during a private graveside service at the Grove City Cemetery.
