Ruberta Coburn passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She will be remembered for her big heart, her vibrant spirit, and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her.
Ruberta was preceded in death by her beloved fur babies, who held a special place in her heart.
She is survived by her children and grandchildren: Shannon; Austin (Ray); Bailey; Connor; Laila; Ashley; Alexia; Nevaeh; Dale II (Matt); and Ellie; as well as her great-grandchildren, Alaina, Mariah, and Kylan.
She is also survived by her loving mother, Hazel Mccann; her siblings, Scarlett (Mick) Harlan, Roberta "Berti" Harness, Danielle Coburn, Stephanie (Beau) Arnold, Robert L. (Joni) Berthel, and Elizabeth (Donte) Jenkins; along with many nieces, nephews, and countless friends who will deeply miss her.
Ruberta was a proud graduate of West High School, Class of 1980, and was employed by Tosoh, where she dedicated many years of hard work.
Ruberta loved life to the fullest. She enjoyed camping, traveling, going to concerts, and listening to music. She never missed cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes and was also a big NASCAR fan, especially when it came to rooting for her favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr.
When it came to camping, Ruberta always made sure there was plenty of Pepsi and more than enough sweet treats for everyone to enjoy. She found happiness in the simple things-coloring on her iPad, working on puzzles, shopping, and spending time with her beloved fur babies. She also loved soaking up the sun and could often be found sunbathing or relaxing by the pool in her backyard. She was known for her fun-loving personality, her love of a good time, and her ability to make those around her feel special.
Above all, Ruberta will be remembered for her love of family, her laughter, and the lasting memories she created with everyone fortunate enough to know her.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Ruberta's memory to the Fungal Infection Trust to support research and awareness of fungal diseases. Donations may be made at: www.justgiving.com/charity/fungalinfectiontrust
