Ruby A. Wallace, 82, Columbus, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 15, 2014.
Ruby was born in Chillicothe, OH on May 6, 1932 to John and Blanch (Stanley) Winfield and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles E. Wallace; son, John D. Wallace; 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
Survivors include her daughters, Helen Brown and Nancy Wallace; son, Eric Wallace; grandchildren, Chip Brown, Chevonne Brown, Katina (A.W. Rogers) Brown, Jaison Wallace, Simon Wallace, Angel Lacy; great-grandchildren, Micheal, Imani, Adreain, Aric, Erin; daughter-in-law, Ann Wallace; step-grandchildren, Armand (Sophia) Carter and Tanesha Goodman; special friends, Joan Wallace, Kathy Cardwell, Lisa Lauderdale, O'Sheaynna White, Beatrice L. Harris, Carleena Foster, Norman and Carolyn Gearhart; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Ruby and her husband were owner and operator of Columbus Child Care Center Co.
Visitation will be from 9:00 – 10:00 AM with Funeral Services immediately following, May 24, 2014, at Second Community Church, 311 S Highland Ave, Cols, OH 43223.
Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Special thanks to Dr. Edward J. Pollyea, Dr. Charlene E. Watkins, Pastor, wonderful caregivers at the Zusman Hospice and Wexner Rehab facility and earth angel, Charlotte Chapman for their love and kindness.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zusman Hospice, 1151 College Ave., Cols, OH 43209.
